The featured game placeholder
Featured games is a section of Nitrome's website that has been devoted to promote different things over the course of Nitrome's history.
Original featured games section
The "featured" section originally held games, advertisements, and even some videos, but was changed to only Nitrome games in October of 2011.
Featured games
The featured games appear along the side of the website layout, above the top games. There is a little square with a heading reading "featured" above it. Inside the box is an image from the game. When the picture is clicked on, it links the player to that game. Featured games will continue to appear in the box long after they are released.

- In 2012, Nitrome added a unique ad in the featured box. It said "All Touchy Games", and would take the player to the Touchy category of the games page.
