Pack 1

Pack 1 is the first level pack in Gunbrick.

Motif

Pack 1 is set in a modern city. The sky is blue and all the levels take place during the day time, which is the cause of the city's blue colour throughout. This city contains many high buildings which can be seen from most of the above ground areas of the city.

The Gunbrick craze's effect on the city has caused advertisements to be displayed throughout advertising either the Gunbrick in general, the various functions of it, or safety precautions for it. This advertising seems to point to the city being very multicultural, as advertisements are seen in languages such as English, French, and Japanese. Gunbrick advertisements are not the only focus of signs in the city, large signs of businesses can sometimes be seen extended into the air or on the front of buildings, being rather noticeable.

Much of the city seems to be filled with various food businesses. Throughout Pack 1 several areas of the city are visited, such as the outside area of the protagonist's own apartment, a park, or the top of an under construction building that reaches high into the sky.

Though much of the pack take place above ground, sometimes the player explores the underground sewer area of the city. This area is mostly made up of lots of pipes, which is mostly clean, though it still does have some grime. Rarely is anyone found down here.

Story

The protagonist hears of an advertisment, which leads him to buy the new gunbrick. He takes it out for a test run, but soon becomes a nuisance to the city police. He is chased by the cops, only to defeat them and manages to leave his city and journey to deeperfumes desert.

Levels

Level 1-1

This is basically the protagonist's apartment. the player must progress to the neighbouring building, then out through the back to find the finishing point of the level.

Level 1-2

This is an underground sewer, below a road that is being worked on by a construction crew. As the player progresses through the labyrinth, they must shoot the weak blocks to go further.
