Upgrades are collectible items in the game Tower Fortress that grant passive buffs to the player.

Game information[]

Upgrades are always located in the upgrades area at the end of each level and require a key to access. The player can choose one of three randomised upgrades, and jump inside its container to grab it and continue to the next level. Once obtained, upgrades will appear in the user interface.

Revive

on first death you will live again Fully heals the player on revival
Once revived, the UI icon will change to indicate that the effect is no longer active
Grapple
no slipping on walls letting you shoot
Spike Orb
damaging spike ball circles around you The orb does one revolution every 1.5 seconds, dealing 1 contact damage to enemies
Cloak Armor
increase invincibility time after hit
Blast Boots
higher jumps with blast Every normal jump fires two bullets downwards that go through obstacles
Extra Spin
+1 spin damage
Gun Boost
+1 gun damage
Magnet
attract pickups
Big Mags
full ammo +25 max The ammo cap is raised for every subsequent weapon the player uses
Hard Boots
safely stand on spikes Does not prevent damage from wall or ceilings spikes
Full Service
gain 1 HP and 15 ammo
Goo Patch
consume 40 enemy blobs for +1 HP
Reshaper
some enemy blobs give ammo
Glue Boots
no knockback
Poison
enemy hitting you is damaged
Lucky Leaf
increase medipack drop rate
Piercer
piercing bullets

+1 max HP The added HP container will be empty
Double Spin
first jump is also a spin jump This accounts for wall jumps as well
Easy Fix
