Decompiling[]
It seems like my flash decompiler refuses to decompile this game. Is there anybody who has been able to decompile this game? Sim533 10:54, February 21, 2014
- Apparently games released after NMD I think (or some time around there) can't be decompiled. It's probably better for the wiki to not have too much image clutter, anyways.

- What decompiler are you using. My decompiler works fine. Pufflesrcute (talk) 03:01, February 22, 2014 (UTC)

- Getting the .swf is rather complicated. First, open up the inspect element thing on the changetype() page, and there will be a small grey box separate from the big inspect element editor. Click the arrow in this box, and navigate your mouse cursor so you have selected the game box. Now, go back to the editor and you should find a long list of code that has the game's URL in it. For the URL, there will be v=1.0.0.6 . Change the 6 to a 4, then click somewhere outside the editor (not on a link, just some non-link area). Now, right click on a non-link area, select "View Page Info", then go to media, then scroll the media box all the way down and click the italicized greyed out link for the swf. Now save the swf, and you have the game's fully working swf. --Talk to NOBODY

- I do have the swf version, I'm just not able to see the graphics. Sim533
- If you can't see the graphics, that means you don't have the right swf. How did you download the swf? Because the swf I explained how to get, that is the only one that has all of the game's graphics. All other swfs contain only graphics for the nitrome game loader. --Talk to NOBODY

Names[]
A while ago we decided to not include thiungs like ! or ? on game articles. Does that apply to this? Fault Liner 13:21, February 22, 2014 (UTC)
- A direct quote from the Manual of Style: "A game page should be named with the same link title given on Nitrome's list of games. It should not involve any punctuation unless there is a punctuation mark on the list. All other known titles can be made as redirects pointing to the given title on the site.

Spring glitch: PROVEN NOT A GLITCH[]
I emailed Nitrome and just a few minutes later, I received a message from Matt:

- Sorry, but email cannot be used as a reference, even with a screenshot. Removing the information altogether is ideal though.

Lowercase first letter[]
Thekingofpizzaandgames (Go to Wikia's best wiki ever)
Uh... Is there anyone ho nows how the lowercase first letter. I simply cannot do it as Geometry Dash has a level called xStep and the article was called "Xstep" and i renamed it, but now it is "XStep" does anyone know that............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Whoa, that was a long row of DOTS
- Two things:
- 1: Please don't spam. That long row of dots was completely unnecessary and could be viewed as spamming.
- 2: This page is supposed to be used for discussions on how to improve the changeType article. Although I know you did want to inquire about how to do something regarding special code on article (in this case, the lowercase first letter), you should instead ask an admin here instead of posting on the article's talk page, as technically your message has nothing to do with the article.
- To give an article a lowercase first letter, type in source mode at the top of the article {{DISPLAYTITLE: {{lcfirst:{{PAGENAME}}}} }}. --Talk to NOBODY

- By nature, all article titles have their first letter capitalised by default (but they are not case sensitive). As NOBODY said, you can change the way the article's first letter case is displayed with DISPLAYTITLE. I think there's also some JS on Dev Wiki that lets you completely modify the way a page title is displayed. I don't know if it's possible to change case for Recent Changes, Wiki Activity, etc.

Code[]
The name sounds like a javascript Code. (an existing similar code includes bounceBubbles() )

- It most likely is, as changeType is a programming function/method in several programming languages, and most like is also a Javascript code. --Talk to NOBODY
