Self contradictory?[]
"Foreman White was the first victim of the aliens, as his cap was found sitting on a rock on one rock in the mine. It is not known how Foreman White met his doom, as his fate is never mentioned."
"Foreman White only appears once in-game, on the first level, sending the first transmission to the player. This is the first of two times he is fully seen. His cap can be found on a rock in level 5, though."
Okay so if the cap on the rock suggests Foreman White fell victim to the aliens, then why is his doom not mentioned? And how does finding his cap on a rock suggest anything about his victimisation? Couldn't this evidence also be used to imply that he escaped the invasion unharmed (and his cap just fell off in the process)?
I mean, sure White might be a victim of the alien infection, but there is certainly more sound evidence that reveals this besides a cap sitting on a rock.
