Hi there GeekCat and welcome to Nitrome Wiki, the largest database for all things Nitrome! Our growing community currently has active users, and you have now become one of them with your contributions to Avatars.

Please take some time to read this wiki's policy here, as it may differ from that of other wikis. Most notably, personal images cannot be uploaded to Nitrome Wiki and must be uploaded off site. Fanart can be hosted on Nitrome Fanfiction Wiki.

We have two additional sister wikis, covering different aspects of Nitrome:

  • Nitrome Fanfiction Wiki is a place for uploading Nitrome fanart and creating other fan related works such as stories or fan sequels.
  • Nitrome Pixel Love Wiki focuses on games featured in the Pixel Love section of the Nitrome blog.
Need help editing? Editing is important, but so is being able to know where to find help! A number of help pages are available for the new and experienced user:
  • Project:Help index lists help pages that are more geared towards new editors, and gives a brief description on each link.
  • Help:Contents provides a more visual navigation of help links from Community Central, as well as a search index.

Looking for additional ways to help this wiki? A list of main tasks that need to be done can be found at Project:Helping out. For instance, try checking out Category:Article stubs for a list of short articles that require expansion.

I hope you enjoy your time here. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. NOBODY (talk) 09:10, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

Nitrome Wiki may not be a huge community, but you just made it bigger by joining! Thanks so much! Out of curiousity...

  • What inspired you to join Nitrome Wiki?
  • What's your favorite Nitrome game?
  • Who's your favorite Nitrome Character?

Seeing as you've been on more than one wiki, you know by now that you can respond on my talk page.

With that, I hope you work really hard on this wiki and make lots of friends! Have fun!!!!

Out of Curiosity...

Okay, so I accepted your friend request on But unlike everyone I'm friends with on, we've never exchanged words once. I take my online friendships just as seriously as my IRL friendships. I feel kinda bad for accepting it because we've never even talked to each other in chat, let alone even make any contact with each other. What makes us friends? If you don't answer my question, I can understand. It's not the same as answering a question to someone who's right in front of you. You remind me of one of my IRL friends. She doesn't talk much, but I still understand her. She came up to me one day and asked if she wanted to be my friend. The same goes for you. Even if you don't answer my question, you're still my friend. Actions speak louder than text on a screen.

Hello! Thanks for making lots of great edits to Nitrome Wiki! I've noticed how you corrected some errors in articles that make them read better and also added extra clarification to others. Thanks for these edits, they make Nitrome Wiki better! --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 00:35, January 28, 2015 (UTC)

How do you O_o

How do you make images from mobile games?

Hi! Thanks for adding content to the Interactive objects (Magic Touch mobile) page, and also your continued edits to the wiki. Thanks! --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 23:16, March 19, 2015 (UTC)

RE: Signature and 2015 article

For the 2015 article, all blog posts except Pixel Love ones should be mentioned. To add a citation, you need to use Template:Citation. The page has information on how to use it, but if you need any more help, feel free to message me.

For your signature, yes, you can have a an image unrelated to Nitrome. However, you don't have to have it along with a Nitrome image. You can if you want, but it isn't necessary. --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 16:01, March 21, 2015 (UTC)

Some tips for your team

Okay, so your team seems to be good in terms of type diversity. A good flying type is Pidove. I caught one and it was my main flying type for the whole game. A good dragon type is Axew (since I don't think you want to wait extremely long to get Deino). To answer your question, Desert Resort isn't too far from where you currently are. For the rest of the slots, you could use

  • Scraggy
  • Munna
  • Panpour
  • Blitzle
  • Timburr
  • Minccino
  • Venipede

Take your pick. A Pokémon that works for me won't automatically work for you since we're different people. I hope I helped you! ^_^

Hi Nitromian Poptropica, when signing any talk page, use the signature button in the editor or type four tildes in succession of each other (~~~~) to sign. In addition to adding your username, it also creates a timestamp which makes it easier to index messages in the future if needed.   Brain Small Fry Random-storykeeper Blot 16:26, May 1, 2015 (UTC)

RE: Signature request and game files

I will make your signature. To find game files in games, you need to use a flash decompiler. This site has a free one you can use. Once you download it, if you are using Windows you can decompile a flash game by downloading a .swf, and then finding it in your file manager and right clicking and selecting "Open in JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler" (or something similar). --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 15:14, May 15, 2015 (UTC)

This image unfortunately cannot be displayed on your signature because DeviantArt does not allow you to hotlink images. If you can upload that image to ImageShack, Photobucket, or another wiki, then it can be included. If not, what other image do you want to use? --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 15:33, May 15, 2015 (UTC)

Here is the signature I made based off what you mentioned here:
Zekrom_mini.gifNitromian Poptropica
Here is the code:

<span style="background-color:#89Cff0; border:4px solid #007FFF; {{border-radius|45em}}; -moz-box-shadow: 0px 0px 10px black; -webkit-box-shadow: 0px 0px 10px black;">[][[User:Nitromian Poptropica|<span style="color:blue;">'''Nitromian Poptropica'''</span>]]</span>

If you like it, you can make it your signature by following the steps here. --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 14:24, May 16, 2015 (UTC)

Go to your prefferences, then write {{subst:Nosubst|Signatures/Nitromian_Poptropica}} and if you do ~~~~ on any page it'll become your sig AKA Zekrom_mini.gifNitromian Poptropica

RE:Unwanted blanks

I think it's just an unavoidable glitch that very rarely happens. It has happened to other users before, but not me. Don't feel bad if you accidentally blank a page, if it happens everyone will know it was an accident since no one here deliberately blanks pages. --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 11:44, June 29, 2015 (UTC)

I've experienced unwanted blanking pages before and it appears it can be avoided by previewing the page before publishing. If you see the page is blank in the preview, preview it again till it shows all text and then click publish located at the bottom of the preview window.
If you do end up publishing a blank page, go back to edit it again and chances are all text will be there. Then publish the page and everything should be normal.
Hope this helps!

Names of images

Hey Nitromian Poptropica! I've noticed you've been uploading quite a few images lately, and I just wanted to give you a quick heads up on something. (Semi-)Recently we updated the Manual of Style concerning the names of images. We now encourage that when uploading images, the name of the image should at least include the game that it is from and what the image is of, separated by a space. For example, for an image of Narwhal from Snow Drift, an appropriate image title would "Snow Drift Narwhal."

Or in your case, an appropriate name for this image would be "Shop Banner tank cameo" or something like that.

Thanks for all the help you do for the Nitrome Wiki! And if you need any help concerning this new rule, feel free to ask me! 36px-Jack_Frost_running.PNGEmitewiki2 36px-Purple_Frost_running.png 04:30, August 13, 2015 (UTC)

I'll tell him when I see him that you have been complaining about his melodies thing. MonsterHunterMegaphantazeIdlingDr.Nastidious 05:41, September 24, 2015 (UTC)

RE: Passengers images

To do that you just have to add "|left" in the image's code. For example, if you wanted to align Skywire VIP extended Pokemon to the left, you would input "<onwiki>
Skywire VIP extended Pokemon
</nowiki>". You can also do this in the image browser in the "Alignment" section by selecting the circle that corresponds to the image that shows a picture aligned to the left. --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 16:44, September 26, 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Nitromian Poptropica. I've noticed from your recent edits a trend, and I have a feeling the situation stands something like this: You want to leave this wiki. You're trying to leave. But you love being here so much that you keep coming back, even when you try. Don't bother trying to remove things; they linger. It seems to me that you're fighting against your love for this wiki but you're struggling.

Of course, I could be wrong, but with the way you've been acting, making snide comments while trying to remove your presence, it sure seems like so. And it reminded me a lot of the time when I tried to quit the wiki. Yes, I made a goodbye blog post and all. But I only stopped editing for about a week before I sprung right back in. I wanted to leave the wiki, but I loved being on it so much that I just kept coming back, even when the situation became dire.

So on my second attempt, I said nothing, left nothing. I just slipped away. A few months later, after I rectified the situation, I returned. The point I'm trying to get at here is that in many instances, making blog posts, blatant summaries, etc., is only going to draw attention to yourself. The consent you gave to be in comics, to have friends here...that's already passed. Trying to call out things as "childish" or telling people to "get out" - that's just lashing anger at users who haven't done anything to hurt you, really.

Honestly, if you want to quit the wiki, consider taking a break; it'll help ease your mind to see if you are prepared to commit to such a decision. Don't make an announcement or the like. People here get quite preoccupied with stuff; we'll forget things, but we'll always be ready for you should you choose to return. If you remain quiet, there's going to be less attention drawn to your leave.

Finally, if the situation gets dire, I can recommend you one thing I used to help leave the wiki. Paste the content you see here into your Wikia.js and set a date and time you want the code to expire. When the cache updates, it won't prevent you from viewing the wiki, but it'll automatically log you out when you try to log in. Hopefully that will help you in your abstinence.

I wish you all the best, and that your leave or break may be a successful one.   Brain Small Fry Random-storykeeper Blot 23:06, November 16, 2015 (UTC)

RE: Untitled

You can decompile any iOS or Android app easily without any programs. Games on iOS have the extension .ipa, while games on Android have the extension .apk. When you get a game's file, rename it so that its extension is .zip instead of .ipa/.apk, then extract the file. On Windows you can extract the file by right clicking on the .zip file and selecting "Extract all". I'm not sure if it is necessary to use this program, but if you are on Windows you may have to use 7zip. --Talk to NOBODYnitromeletters.pngQuagsiresAreAwesome.png 13:30, April 15, 2016 (UTC)
